About Apex Images

Apex Images was formed with the intention to create a modern, friendly, but traditional outlet for Rights Managed and Licensed images with old fashioned values together with the option of print sales for contributors.
Although there are a number of well established online 'print sales' outlets already, none of them also include the option for artists and illustrators to have their work licensed for use as stock images.

What type of images are you looking for?

We're looking for work that will appeal to the traditional users of stock photography and images that are suitable for licensing for us in books and as calanders, postcards and will sell as art prints.

What licensing models will you use?

Strictly Rights Managed or Licensed images. We don't believe that other licensing options reward the photographers for the effort and work it takes to create the images.

What is your commision split?

It is a 50/50 split between the contributor and Apex Images for all licensed images and a 60/40 split of profit in favor of the contributor for print sales..

How often do the contributors get paid?

Any payments due to contributors will be made as soon as the funds are cleared on a weekly basis.

What are your payment terms?

Payment for the licensing of images is due before the image is used. Any use of an image without prior payment or arrangement to pay will be considered as an illegal use and will incur further charges.
